Junyi Shen received a B.S degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2011. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Since 2012, she has been working as a graduate research assistant in the Maryland Power Electronics Laboratory (MPEL) in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Maryland at College Park.
Currently, Junyi is working on a battery / ultracapacitor based hybrid energy storage system and developing supervisory energy management strategies for both offline and online implementations. Her research interests include energy management for hybrid energy storage systems and renewable energy systems.
