Bin Wu (S’14) received the B.S degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in June 2008, M.S. degree in power electronics from Xi’an Jiao tong University, Xi’an, Shaanxi, in June 2011 and Ph.D. degree in power electronics from University of California, Irvine, CA, USA, in April 2016. Since April, 2016, He starts working as a Post-Doctoral Associate in Maryland Power Electronics Laboratory (MPEL), University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA.

His research interests include switched capacitor converter, electrical vehicle charger and storage system, high gain DC-DC converter, renewable energy integration and modeling of power electronics circuits.

Currently he has authored/coauthored more than 20 technique papers (First author for 6 top journal papers and 7 conference papers), 2 Chinese patents and 2 US patents with other 5 patents pending. He has been frequently serving as a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, and Journal of Power Electronics.

In addition, he has been a summer intern with several companies: Broadcom, General Electric, PHILIPS and Silergy, ~ 2-6 months for each time period and five quarters’ teaching assistant (TA) experiences.
