Rakesh Resalayyan is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Maryland, Collage park, USA. He also holds the faculty co-advisor position for Terps Racing EV. He is currently leading a project on electro-thermo-mechanically co-designed high power density dielectric cooled onboard charger (OBC).
He received the B.Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India, in 2014. He received his M.Tech. degree in Electronic Systems Engineering and Ph.D in power electronics from Electronic Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 2017 and 2021 respectively. He has authored or coauthored more than 20 journal articles and conference papers. His research interests include areas of high power converters, drives and DC-DC converters.
